We've had a delightful journey the last 2 days. We cruised the Okechobee Waterway to Clewiston...great scenery and some locks to go through. We spent the night at the "WORLD FAMOUS ROLAND MARTIN MARINA". It is a really big bass fishing spot with a fun Tiki bar...not fancy.
Today we left at first light to cross Lake Okeechobee. We had been warned to try and cross before the wind kicked up. It was a bit rough for Dorsey and Jake (especially , Jake). We then entered the St. Lucie canal that took us to Stuart. We are now happily docked at the Sunset Bay Marina.....very nice!
