Welcome to our blog! Some of you have expressed an interest in our adventure You are welcome to check in every now and then or just delete it.

Our home base has been the Cape Harbour Marina in Cape Coral, FL since 12/28. Thus far we took some overnighters to Captiva Island and Cabbage Key. We hope to leave the end of next week to begin our cruise up to Hilton Head. That said, the #1 rule of cruising is: There are no "set in concrete" schedules. We'll leave when we and KNOTUGAL are ready :-)

The picture posted today is our boat on the "HARD". We decided to get a stern thruster put on....it's a good docking assistant. KNOTUGAL  was out of the water for 2 nights. We stayed onboard hooked up to power. That is an adventure in itself. We hope to "SPLASH"(boating term for water reentry) tomorrow AM.
