Last night the Coconut Grove Sailing Club hosted a presentation by a couple that sailed up to Svalbard, Norway at Latitude 80 degrees. We went out of curiosity to see what kind of crazy these people were. They set out in a 38' Island Packet Sailboat. Their trip took about 6 weeks. It was an incredibly interesting hour and a half presentation. This is something we would NEVER consider doing, but it is so amazing that there are such adventurers in the world.
