LOSS OF OUR BELOVED DORSEY

Sadly, our precious, sweet girl passed away last week.We were in Philadelphia helping Kristi and family move. Dorsey developed liver failure and started going down hill. We are thankful that our veterinarian daughter, Kristi, was there to tend to her. Kristi was at our home 14years ago when Dorsey first appeared at our front door. It was comforting to us that she was there with us and Dorsey in her final hour.
We miss her terribly. She was so much a part of our life. Returning to our boat, which we had left in Hilton Head, has been difficult...so many memories and reminders of Dorsey. She was so loved!

  1. John and Wendy, I was so sorry to read this post. I know the heart ache and emptiness you feel. You did everything you could to make sure Dorsey was comfortable in her final years. It truely was a blessing that you were with Kristi when she passed.

  2. I am so sorry to read of your loss. Dorsey was a huge part of your life and family. Y'all were lucky to have found each other. We also lost our Bubba on 8/13. He had lymphoma and the disease had progressed to the point where no quality of life remained and no hope for recovery. They will stay in our hearts always.
